Overview of Rankzio’s Diagnostic Framework

The Rankzio AdSense Readiness Checker evaluates submitted websites using an automated, non-invasive HTTP inspection pipeline. Our crawler examines the target homepage and discovers a bounded sample of up to 10 internal links to assess architectural consistency, crawlability, and compliance signals.

The 21 Evaluated Signals

Our diagnostic engine groups checks into three primary categories: Technical Infrastructure, Content & Structure, and Regulatory Compliance.

1. Technical Infrastructure (30% Weighting)

• Public Reachability & Server Connection: Verifies that the host responds within acceptable timeout limits without connection drops or DNS failures.
• HTTP Response Status Code: Checks for a clean 200 OK status code on destination pages.
• HTTPS Encryption: Validates TLS/SSL certificate presence and cipher security.
• Redirect Chains: Detects and flags excessive redirection hops (over 2 hops) that waste crawler budget.
• robots.txt Integrity: Analyzes root robots.txt to ensure crawlers (especially Mediapartners-Google) are not disallowed.
• XML Sitemap Discovery: Inspects /sitemap.xml and robots.txt directives for discoverable sitemaps.
• Meta Robots Directives: Verifies that pages do not carry blocking "noindex" or "none" tags.
• Canonical Tags: Checks for self-referencing canonical links to prevent duplication penalties.
• Internal Link Health: Tests sample internal links to confirm they do not return 404 Not Found or 500 Server Error codes.

2. Content & Structure (45% Weighting)

• Homepage Title Tag Optimization: Ensures title tags are descriptive (15–70 characters) and not blank.
• Heading Hierarchy: Checks for the presence of a single H1 tag and logical subheading organization.
• Visible Content Signals: Calculates visible text-to-code ratios and word volume (flagging pages with fewer than 300 words).
• Navigation Usability: Counts primary navigation menu elements to ensure intuitive visitor journeys.
• Placeholder Text Detection: Flags unfinished template text like "Lorem ipsum", "Coming soon", or "Under construction".
• Mobile Viewport Declaration: Confirms the presence of <meta name="viewport"> tags for smartphone responsiveness.

3. Trust & Legal Disclosures (25% Weighting)

• Discoverable Privacy Policy: Scans footer and header anchors for multi-language privacy disclosures.
• Discoverable About Page: Looks for transparent author and organizational background information.
• Discoverable Contact Page: Ensures clear communication channels exist for visitor trust.
• Terms of Use & Disclaimers: Evaluates legal disclaimers and user terms.
• AdSense Script Presence: Identifies whether the publisher verification tag has been embedded in the markup.
• ads.txt File Inspection: Verifies /ads.txt presence and valid Google publisher formatting lines where applicable.

Scoring Calibration and Limitations

The maximum score is 100 points. Points are awarded exclusively for passed criteria; partial credit is given for warnings, and no penalties are applied for purely informational checks such as ads.txt prior to initial approval.

Important Limitation: Rankzio inspects public signals only. It cannot evaluate private Google account standing, traffic fraud flags, or content originality beyond text depth and placeholder detection.
